The Glenurquhart 10 Mile Time Trial is open to all members of the City of Inverness Cycling Club for a token fee of £1. Insurance is such that non-club members or members of other club are invited to take part in one event on the understanding that future participation will require them to join the club.

The time trial is held on public roads open to traffic so all riders are expected to follow the usual rules of the road. The start, finish and turn will all be marshalled and signposted for visibility. At the turn, the marshalls will alert other road users to your approach and indicate if the road is clear but they are not authorised to hold up traffic so do not expect them to.
The wearing of a suitable helmet (aero or otherwise) is mandatory for all wishing to take part and the use of front and rear lights is encouraged for the early and late season events where light quality may not be high.

The results will be presented at the Bog Cotton Cafe along with some refreshments after the race and will be posted online in the Events Results forum shortly after. A full record of results will be available to download here.
Please do not return to the timekeeper at the finish as this may distract them from recording other riders' times - results will be available after the event.
... and remember, it doesn't matter what time anyone else got - first and foremost, you're racing against yourself.
